At Found Memory Artifacts, we understand that your keepsake is eagerly anticipated. We take great care in packaging and shipping each item to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully presented, worthy of the memories it preserves.

Production Time

Each Found Memory Artifact is custom-made to order with your personalization:

  • Standard Production: 1-3 business days from order confirmation
  • Peak Season: 1- 5 business days

Important: Production time begins when your order is confirmed and does not include shipping time. Your estimated delivery date is production time + shipping time.

We primarily ship via USPS/FedEx for reliable tracking and delivery:

Order Processing and Fulfillment

Order Confirmation

  • You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order
  • This confirms we received your order but does not mean it has shipped
  • Check the confirmation for accuracy of your shipping address and personalization

Production Updates

  • Email will be sent once your Artifact mails or ships out.
  • It will include all the pertinent details, tracking # etc.

Shipping Notification

  • When your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information
  • Tracking typically updates within 24 hours of shipment
  • You can track your package directly through USPS website or Fedex website.

Packaging

Your keepsake arrives ready to gift or display:

  • Premium Packaging: Will arrive in our Found™ Blue Envelope, which will have the mailing label on it.
  • Sustainability: We use recyclable materials whenever possible

Delivery Requirements

Address Accuracy

  • You are responsible for providing an accurate, complete shipping address
  • Include apartment/suite numbers, company names, and any special delivery instructions
  • We cannot be responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
  • Address changes must be requested within 24 hours of order placement

Signature Requirements

  • Most shipments do not require a signature
  • High-value orders (over $200) may require signature confirmation

Delivery Locations

  • We ship to residential and business addresses
  • We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes for FedEx shipments
  • Military APO/FPO addresses available via USPS
  • Delivery to secure buildings may require recipient pickup from mail room

Special Delivery Situations

Holiday and Peak Season Shipping

  • Order early during peak seasons
  • Production times may be extended during holidays
  • Carrier delays are common during peak season
  • We recommend ordering at least 3 weeks before needed date during holidays
  • Holiday cutoff dates will be posted on our website

Weather and Natural Delays

  • Severe weather, natural disasters, or other acts of nature may cause delays
  • These delays are beyond our control but we will keep you informed
  • Carriers typically make every effort to deliver as soon as conditions permit

Delivery Issues

Package Marked as Delivered But Not Received

  • Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
  • Check all possible delivery locations (front door, back door, garage, mailroom)
  • Contact us within 48 hours if you cannot locate the package
  • We will file a tracer with the carrier and work to resolve the issue

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

  • Packages returned to us as undeliverable will incur reshipment fees
  • If returned due to customer-provided incorrect address, customer pays reshipping
  • Refused packages will incur restocking fees

Order Tracking

  • Track your order at any time using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email
  • Tracking information updates within 24 hours of shipment
  • Contact us if tracking shows no movement for 3+ business days
  • International tracking may have gaps during customs processing

Special Requests

We’re happy to accommodate special shipping needs when possible:

  • Guaranteed Delivery by Specific Date: Offered in our cart, simply select it and choose your date at checkout.
  • Gift Messages: Include a gift message in your order notes (no charge)
