This message always makes me think of the special bond between two people –
How can I measure my love for you?
Is it measured in the number of beats that my heart skips
every time I look your way?
Is it measured in the number of smiles you’ve
brought to my lips every time I hear your voice?
Perhaps it’s measured by the sparkle in your eyes
or the music in your voice.
Or perhaps, my love for you is so deep,
that it can’t be measured at all.
Though I may not be able to measure it,
it is most definitely there.
I love you with all of my heart and all of my soul,
and I will love you for the rest of my life.
We often forget or take for granted how amazing certain people in our lives are, lucky for us, the greeting card industry and the flower industry make sure we have enough holidays to make us not take them for granted or forget what a true gift they are. As we approach Valentine’s Day, this message resonates every thought that I have for my better half, we all have better halves, and we sometimes are so blessed we simply forget to say the things we use to say when we were dating or courting if they still do that. As for me I am a hopeless romantic, and yes, we still watch Twilight together but before that Romeo and Juliet, if you are a true romantic you can’t be without some form of Shakespeare in your life. I was introduced to him in high school English and then again in college. Then once more from my better half Shakespeare in the Park, it was amazing as amazing as she was. So as we get ready to celebrate our amazing better halves stop think of them, pen a note, have us put it into a message in a bottle. February 14, 2021 falls on a Sunday and for some lucky people its a three day weekend, order a message in a bottle place it on their pillow in the morning, run them a bath and float it the tub, or float it in the pool, maybe simply place it on their favorite spot in the house.
Valentine’s Day, love, remembering and expressions of our love keep us all feeling amazing, the gifts we give become mementos of those expressions and these mementos fill us with that feeling over and over again.
Pen a note, allow us to place it in a bottle for Valentine’s Day, and give that special someone a gift that will transform into a treasure.
